Here’s a great lesson on double stops from the guys at Truefire.com. In this lesson Jeff McErlain shows you how to play a blues riff in the key of G using double stops at the start. A double stop is when you play two notes at one – in this riff it’s the first and third note. This riff is loosely based on a Robben Ford lick. If you enjoy the sound of this make sure you check out Robben’s stuff.
heeeeyyy duuude youre almost a reeeaaal bluesman only you need be black xD
I would have to say the Bass is cooler…if there was a coolest instrument of course…
Very nice. Thank you!
You play slow part “illustration” differently from fast part in beginning. You add a note in slow part. You add a G in last part of lick.
Nice lick. Now i will lick my guitar with it.
i’ve seen a lot of tutes.. this is probably the first one I could actually fully follow.. eh.. cool lick

with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no back up.
Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?
