Hey thanks alot for this lesson!it really helped!but i got confused when i added my pinky to the 5th fret of the 1st string while playing the Cm7 chord. Adding that A note what would the chord be called?help please!

people, this is a good video but take lessons! it teaches you to learn the guitar. once that happens, you make your own music, add your own twists and learn a song on your own in 10 mins by ear! i promsise

Yes we are in the key of c minor, however chords (harmony) out a minor key are built from the Harmonic Minor scale which has the raised 7th scale degree (Bb raised to B natural) C D Eb F G Ab ^ Bnatural C. Which makes your 5 chord (G) a Major chord. with a minor seventh if you add the 7th. GBDF. Whether you are in minor, or major, the five chord is always Major with a minor seventh for this reason. (According to theory) Feel free to check any theory book
