Johnnathan Cordy has a bunch of great Line 6 Helix and POD Go resources on his YouTube channel and is definitely one of the people I enjoy watching to learn how to get more out of my Helix Native software.
The Matchless amp is one that I’ve struggled with in terms of getting a good tone (but that’s true about a lot of the amps because I’m still learning the Helix!).
Despite this video featuring his POD Go, everything he says and shows you are still relevant for the full Helix unit – you just have more options.
I learn a lot from these videos thinking about how the different components interact with each other and how some subtle changes can actually make a big difference to your sound.
After watching this video I bought Cordy’s Helix patches – they’re very good value and as he creates more, he adds them to the Google Drive. I’ll do a video soon looking over some of his patches so you can see the quality of them.
If you’re a Helix user and looking for a good way to get up to speed, click through to his YouTube channel and buy his patches.
